In middle school the internet bewitched me. I tied up the only phone line in the house to log on to America Online, hopping in/out of chat rooms and browsing pre-Metallica lawsuit Napster. As an AOL groupie, I thought my dream job would be to work there. After putting in some time in customer service at Panera, I was hired at AOL and provided tech support to dial-up users for two years. The common thread in most of the roles I’ve held is technology. As an Office Manager/Bookkeeper, I utilized Quickbooks and an integrated third party tool to automate invoicing and statements processes, moving the business into the paperless age! As a Ticket Coordinator, I documented and analyzed the existing ticket process and began mapping out a new one to decrease queue time. As a Marketing Manager, I was finally able to combine my love for technology and my passion as a maker. I created new product websites which gave ownership of marketing assets back to the business owners and was able to capture metrics and ROI to get the most value out of a small budget. In my role at Bisk, I found my second family. I learned two enterprise level tools: Marketo and Salesforce and several soft-skills I utilize today. At Perkuto as a Marketo Consultant I was fortunate to work with astonishingly talented and amazing individuals on Marketo projects ranging from Bizible implementations to MQL lead flow. In my current role at Masonite I continue to serve as a Marketo SME and owner, guiding stakeholders through automation best practices and translating metrics into insights. I continue to learn and expand on my skill set every day, dancing around this virtual realm we refer to as “the web”.
